Kriss encourages a healthy balance into her client’s hectic schedules with a modern approach to traditional healing.
As a Registered Traditional Chinese Medical practitioner and acupuncturist with over 11 years experience in Toronto, Kriss delivers compassionate and skilled care to her clients.
By utilizing her extensive knowledge to not only help her clients heal, Kriss provides the tools and treatment plans needed to treat the root of the condition.
She uses acupuncture, Chinese herbs, tui-na massage and cupping therapy to heal and prevent illness. Her main areas of expertise are pain relief, stress management and women’s health including pre/postnatal and fertility.
Client’s also benefit from Kriss’ customized ::SKIN DEEP and BEYOND:: cosmetic acupuncture treatments which include muscle toning and lymph drainage from her gua sha and facial cupping protocols.
However, it was the mind - body connection that first peaked her interest in TCM and the whole body approach to holistic care.
She is now incorporating sound healing as part of her sessions while focusing on the TCM connection between emotional imbalances. These can act as both symptoms and causes for physical issues she sees in her practice.
Juggling two clinics as a busy mom and wife, Kriss aims to practice what she preaches by living traditionally-today.
She hopes to promote Chinese Medicine and a balanced approach to healthy living to her client’s but also enjoys teaching and working as a clinic supervisor at her alumni school, The Academy of Integrative Medicine (AIM).
Along with educating and informing Kriss is also passionate about bringing people together.
This has lead to working an array of events including festivals, pop - ups to corporate lunch and learns.
All these experiences have recently lead Kriss to begin hosting her own holistic retreats.
By collaborating with other leaders in the wellness field, she is bringing TCM, sound healing, nutrition, body work, breath work and more, combining all into a weekend wellness experience.
The journey to healing and self discovery is boundless and she is looking forward to what the next few years as a practitioner will bring.
